I Wanna Be Like Ross

It seems that Ms. Diana Ross is making plans to become an R&B mentor.

"I enjoy Beyoncé's music and admire Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey. I'm ready to give advice and support to any of them that wants that. Because Mariah used to ask when I would spend time with her, I am available to discuss what it takes."

The 62-year-old singer says one thing the younger divas could learn from her is how to be a true professional. She said: "I am an extremely organized person. I think I have a good work ethic."

And bitch, on that note...

Celebrity Couple News

First of all, I apologize for the delay in posts. The Christmas liquor made me crazy (that's my story and I'm stickin' to it).

Okay, so I'm hearing news that Tyrese and that big-eared BET host Rocsi are dating. The story says that they've known each other for a few years and decided to make things official over the holidays and become a couple. I guess it's that Black Ty swag that's got Rocsi's coochie hairs standing on end (call it sarcasm).
Extra, Extra: According to Vibe Confidential, the Christmas season helped take Ashanti and Nelly's relationship to the next step as well. They reportedly got engaged over the holidays. Now, much like VIBE, I don't think I believe this rumor and I don't really care, but you never know.

Skeezer Gets Sued

Hoes never win, do they? Well, not in this case. Carmen Bryan just got bitchslapped with a plagiarism lawsuit.

In a lawsuit filed in Columbus, Ohio Federal Court, Tannell Davis claims to have written the book, which originally had a working title of Sex, Drugs and Hip-Hop...Oh, and Did I Mention Love?

The lawsuit alleges that Davis originally wrote and copyrighted Sex, Drugs and Hip-Hop...Oh, and Did I Mention Love? and that Bryan plagiarized the original version and sold the new version to Simon & Schuster under the new titled It's No Secret. [ source ]

Okay, I'm confused as hell. I heard about Sex, Drugs, and Hip-Hop, but I thought it was the original name of Carmen's book. So, did she lie about sleeping with Jay-Z and Allen Iverson, or did both of these females sleep with them? Are hoes taking over the world? Oh Lord, I need to rest my brain.

The Game in Concert - Amsterdam

Nothing much to say there. Just a cold nigga in Europe.
Extra, Extra: The Game has a bit of a temper when he's on the road. So much so that he sometimes beats his friends' asses out of frustration.

"Being on the bus is like being in a prison on wheels, man. It's nothing like being at home. You could be on here for 24 hours, confined in this little space and you start getting claustrophobic and when I start getting mad I just start pulling people out of their bunk and kicking them in the face and shit. Life on the road, you got to be ready for it, and a lot of people don't know that. They think that being a rapper all you got to do is write a 16, write a hook and then you in the video - you get the chains, you get the girls. But it ain't like that, it's a lot of hard work."

I'm pretty sure a kick to the face is good reason to end a friendship.

Make It Rain On Them Hoes

Lloyd Banks is very touchy when it comes to his jewelry. This clip shows him dashing a bottle of water at the crowd when a girl supposedly reached out and tried to take his pinky ring. Then he goes on to tell us how much pussy he gets and that he doesn't need hers. Well, you'd think with a fanbase that is dwindling as fast as Lloyd's is, he would be more compassionate to someone who paid money to see his box-head ass onstage. I'm sure that the young lady is now on "G-Unot" mode, along with the other 7 people who got wet.

A Letter From Diddy

Myspace Fam,

Wanted to tell you first, I'm at the hospital right now and christmas came early this morning when Kim gave birth to two healthy beautiful twin girls!!! Both, Kim and the twins are doing great, thank you for all your support this year! I Love Y'all!
----------------
God Bless

Diddy

God is the Greatest

Oh, well I'm sending a personal congratulations out to Sean and Kim. The gift of life is the best possible Christmas present one could ask for. Let's hope that they aren't ugly as hell. Pass the eggnog, bitch!

50 Promotes Game

50 Cent was caught wearing a Doctor's Advocate T-shirt recently. I don't really understand why, though. I'm guessing it has something to do with his notion that he is still earning money off of The Game and his new album. Ugh...whatever.

.. Rumor Mill ..

The Mystery of the DL HoodStar
Okay, so there are some fresh new rumors of a certain nameless rapper who was spotted in a gay club in the Los Angeles area recently. Allegedly, the dude entered the prodominately black party with his usual entourage, where he proceeded to dance with several gay men. When another partygoer eyed this mystery rap star he made sure to capture a few photos of him via cell phone. That person was then supposedly snatched up by the rapper who quickly grabbed the phone and destroyed it. According to Real Rumors, the suspect is an artist that was accused of being gay/bisexual not too long ago. Hmmm...I wonder who it is. (*cough* Daddy's Angel *cough*)

The National Skeezer Network
So, I hear Jezabel Ho'Mishia Carter Sr. aka Carmen Bryan bka Nas' baby mama is working on her own reality show. The series will be centered around her little pathetic ass book, It's No Secret, and all of the negativity and strife she's facing, and how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of Jay-Z's dick. Who cares? Just let me know when they air the episode where Superhead bitchslaps Carmen out of jealousy.

Everybody Hates Cheapskates
This is exclusive. Apparently, rapper Fabolous likes to dine on a nice Cheddar Bay Biscuit from time to time. He was spotted at a local Miami Red Lobster a while back where, in usual rap fashion, he flooded the restaurant with his bodyguards, homeboys, and some "ugly" bitch. After a long meal served by a great waiter (who will remain nameless), Fab's check came out to $200. This dude had the nerve to leave the server a $6 tip. What's up with that? I hope he's saving up to finally fix that damn tooth.

Oprah's Star Power

Star Jones is admitting to the world what it already knew – that she's been a diva with a capital D – and it seems that she may be using her pal Oprah Winfrey to help her shed that image and get back on her professional feet.

Miss Jones told "EXTRA" that this New Year's, she's going with O and Gayle King to South Africa as Oprah visits the girls academies she built down there. Though the two aren't bosom pals like O & G, Oprah and Star have appeared on one another's shows, and Star could be looking to use some of the Queen of Daytime's reflected glory to land a new gig. [ source ]

I bet when Star Jones walks into a room of 50 people, everyone gets quiet. Like, who wants to see her on TV again? Leave Opie alone.

I wonder who Al is going to use for fame now that his semester at DicSuck University is over. Maybe Vivica Fox. She could use a friend.

Gotta Love Popeye's

"People are obsessed with skinny girls at the moment. OK, I lost a whole lot of weight for this movie but I sure am enjoying putting it back on. I'm going to be eating for America over Christmas to get some more junk in my trunk."

Yeah, don't have much to say about that. Just thought you might like to know that SWSNBN may open up the New Year looking a bit chunky.

BET Parties Early

BET Studios decided to shoot their New Year's Eve special a week and a half in advance. The annual 106 & Party show was recorded yesterday, featuring appearances by Omarion, Cherish, Jibbs, and more. Now that's black entertainment, am I right?

Omarion ; Young Cheezy ; Lloyd ; Juelz Santana
Cherish ; Jibbs ; Jibbs, Big Tigga, and random hoes

BTW: I'm sorry, but Lloyd looks like a mix between a 75 year old Puerto Rican and a Mexican child prostitute. Everytime I look at him, I think of a glass of Johnnie Walker on-the-rocks.

Cassie To Leave Bad Boy

MediaTakeOut.com spoke exclusively with a Bad Boy insider who claims that Cassie and her manager Ryan Leslie are trying desperately to be released from Bad Boy Records. According to the source, Cassie's team feels that Bad Boy hasn't put enough of an effort in marketing the teen singer. The insider explains, "when you look at what Def Jam did for Rihanna, or what LaFace is doing for Ciara, you can kind of understand where she's coming from."

Well, I don't really believe 75% of the B.S. that MediaTakeout posts, but I wouldn't be suprised if this was true. I mean, even if Cassie doesn't leave Bad Boy now, she's probably going to within the next 6 months, so why not get a head start. I also heard that Diddy may have harassed the "singer" sexually. I guess she wasn't ready for superstar sperm of that magnitude.

Is Alicia Keys a Stan?

Alicia Keys has publicly applauded old pal Beyonce for her Golden Globe Best Actress nomination-because she feels the singer/actress could herald a new era of "triple-threat" stars. She says, "I can't wait to see Beyonce in "Dreamgirls. I think, going back in that direction now, and to be able to encompass so many styles, and do it with so much class, is fantastic. I've known Beyonce for a while. We did meet each other when we were on Columbia (record label), where they did retreats and they would show the different artists who were coming out. We got a chance to hang out then. I think we feel the same way about being able to express ourselves. She's a great lady."

Alicia, I love you and everything, but if you kiss Beyonce's ass any harder we might have a problem. You don't want Jay-Z to have to ring the alarm, now do you?

Boys Will Be Boys

So, Bow Wow and Chris Brown stopped by 106 & Park yesterday to perform that aggravating ass song again. Don't ask me for any highlights; I stopped watching BET quite some time ago. Anyway, when looking at these photos, I can't help but notice how increasingly annoying Bow's appearance is. Teresa, please come get your son and tell him to put his shirt back on.

Beyoncé on Bush

[ spotted @ Hip&Pop ]

Just a funny little clip playing off of Beyonce's lyrics and the President's unpopularity. I like it, but don't you think Youtube.com proves that a lot of people have too much time on their hands?

From Capo, With Love

While I try to catch my breath, check out this Christmas e-Card Jim Jones made. He's not letting this Jay-Z thing go anytime soon. This is hilarious.

Thanks, Miss Info!

I Demand A Re-count

Britian's Arena Magazine has dubbed Jezabel Ho'mishia Carter the Queen of R&B. It's weird to me how music is judged so differently in the United Kingdom. It's like another dimension or something.

While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I'd like to know why the hell they would name Rihanna the "Queen of the R&B". She is undoubtedly doing her thing, but she's not a Queen just yet. Besides, it's gonna take a while for them to find a crown to fit that big ass head. Oh, ya'll know it's true.

Big ups to Honorable Media!

NBC's The Today Show

Mary J. Blige rocked the stage at this morning's Today Show, while Will Smith and his son Jaden stopped by to promote their new movie The Pursuit of Happyness, which hits theaters today.
Is it just me or do Mary's ears look a little elf-like? Christmas spirit maybe?

Diana Ross Gives Us More

Soul queen Diana Ross is hoping to cash in on movie musical “Dreamgirls,” which is inspired by her life story, by releasing a new covers album in America. The singer has made it public knowledge she's not a fan of the film, which stars Beyonce as a character loosely based on herself, but she isn't going to let the film pass her by without reminding fans she's still recording. The 62-year-old singer will release “I Love You,” her first new studio album in more than seven years, in her native America on 16 January (07) - less than a month after the Christmas Day release of Dreamgirls. The new album, which features Ross' renditions of classics has already been released in parts of Europe. [ source ]

I know some of my readers are probably expecting me to bash Diana, but I just can't do that today. I love that bug-eyed bitch and I'm happy to hear that she's releasing a new album. As long as they don't pair her up with Rick Ross, I'll be fine.

.. New Music ..

There is hardly a day that goes by where something doesn't cause me to worry about the state of the world. Today, it's this - Michael Jackson and Youngbloodz on a song together! I think a high-pitched "what the fuck" is in order.

I'm not sure if this is a real studio record or if it's simply a mix, but the collaboration disturbs and confuses me either way. If I wake up to news next week that Barry Manilow and Project Pat have done a song together, I'm moving in with Propecia and awaiting the apocolypse.

Michael Jackson - Give It To Me (feat. YoungBloodz)

Pharrell Williams in Concert

Here are some pictures from Pharrell's concert at The Apollo in Manchester, Great Britain. What song he was performing - yeah, I don't know. I didn't even know Skateboard P had a single out. Once "Number One" became number 78, I kind of lost interest in his album. ( Don't worry Stans, I'm not hating. I like Pharrell )
BTW: Why did Pharrell hit the stage looking like he's getting ready to shoot dice and sell crack?

The Racist Commercial

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa...Whoa! Michael Richards has started a worldwide revolution. All the racists are just'a rising from the shadows with nooses in hand.

This commercial for Black Herbal Toothpaste ( you got me ) premiered in Thailand some time ago and it's all too disturbing. First off, I didn't know there were black people in Thailand, so I have a feeling something isn't right. Like I said before, ya'll better pray for the fate of the world.

Thanks, Mike Brown!

Beyoncé on Marriage

"You can't rush a man into anything-whether it's a relationship, marriage or having children. When he's ready, he'll let you know. I was never one of those girls who dreamed of a big wedding. Maybe me and my man will go away to an island; maybe we'll go to a church. I have no idea...My parents have been married for 27 years and they're still in love. That's a great example for me. I know it's possible."

First of all, Mr. and Mrs. Knowles look like they can't stand each other when I see them. I bet Mama Tina has tried to serve her husband a cyanide smoothie or two. Ya'll know she's crazy.

Well, I for one don't give two chicken-fried shits whether The Harpy Queen and The Camel King ever jump the broom. The whole relationship is bound to go stale within a year. I mean, it's already sour.

Danielle Evans Hosts Sagittarian Affair

Danielle & Kerry Rhodes ; Shelrwin Robinson, Trevor Julien and Sheldon Robinson ; Danielle & Nnenna Agba

Ms. Top Model is doing the damn thing! I'm so proud to see her out and about on the Hollywood scene like this. I almost wanna buy her a Christmas turkey. Anyway, don't she and Kerry Rhodes make a cute couple? Not that they're dating or anything...or are they? Hmm....

Spitting Fire

"MOTHER FUCK ALL YA'LL NIGGAS TALKING THAT GREATEST RAPPER SHIT. FUCK HOV, FUCK JADA, FUCK EMINEM, FUCK ALL THEM FOR REAL, CAUSE NOT ONE OF THEM SPOKE FROM THE DEPTH OF OUR PEOPLE AND ACUTALLY WAS TRYING TO FUCKING CHANGE SHIT. HAVE YOU PEOPLE BEEN BLINDED WITH DISTRACTIONS ONE C.D. AT A TIME? ASK YOURSELF, WHILE THEY TALK ABOUT BALLING WHO THE FUCK YOU THINK IS GIVING THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO BALL. YOU!!!! KEEP BUYING THERE UNDERWEAR, CONTINUE TO PAY FOR THERE LIFESTYLE. THEN ASK YOURSELF WHERE ARE THEY WHEN YOU NEED THEM.. LOL"

Rapper/Actor/Poet, Albe Daniels, has a very strong opinion. I found this comment by him in a Myspace bulletin this morning, where he went on to talk about Tupac or something, whatever. You might recognize Albe from the Warner Bros. film, ATL, in which he played the character Brooklyn. If you haven't seen the film you probably have no clue of who the hell the dude is, but I liked what he said. What do you think of his comments?

Ciara's Wendy Williams Experience

Attending The Wendy Williams Experience as a celebrity, must feel like being a serial rapist and sitting on the lap of Satan. Well, Ciara was feeling some of that heat recently during her last visit to radio hell. Thankfully, there weren't any fights, yells, or bitchslaps, but Bullwinkle Wendy and her Pokemon-looking friend Charlamagne, didn't hesitate to heckle the poor ATL-ien. I think Ci-Ci is an easy target, so bashing her on-air is pretty much a bitch move in my eyes, but the young singer handled the ignorance rather well. That's why I love her.
