Mos Def Preps For New Film

My boy Mos Def is not only on the verge of a new album release, but he also has a new movie in the works. He will be joining Danny Glover and Jack Black in a 2007 comedy called Be Kind, Rewind, about a man (Black) who unwillingly becomes magnetized when trying to sabotage a power plant and then erases all the video tapes in a store where Mos' character works. Production for the film begins in New Jersey on September 5th.
