More New York Beef...

LL Cool J has already reported that his next album, Todd Smith Pt 2: Back to Cool, will be his last project under Def Jam Records. So, I'm wondering if Jay-Z is part of the reason that Uncle L is moving on. He was quoted by The New York Daily News saying,

"I think Def Jam needs to be a better promoter of Hip-Hop. I think Jay-Z does a very good job...of promoting Jay-Z.”

Shit, it's not like he's lying. Def Jam's artists are over there struggling for quarters. Illseed of AllHipHop.com made a good point on this topic, stating that the mainstream media often take people's words out of context and twist them into a juicy story. So we'll see what happens when Old Hov hears about it.
